Euskaltel hoping for Zandio and Erviti
Basque Caisse d'Epargne riders Xabier Zandio and Imanol Erviti might just finally join Euskaltel at the end of the season. The Navarran duo's team are still on the lookout for a sponsor for next year, meaning the two allrounders might become available on the market. If they do, expect Galdeano to jump at the chance. "We're monitoring Xabier Zandio's and Imanol Erviti's situation", he said. "The future of their team is still up in the air so we've not come up with any concrete offers to them. When we know what will happen with the team we'll decide". If they do become available, there's no reason not to sign them. They're both quality riders and they've both been around for quite a few years so they'd be solid additions to an already-looking strong team.

On a more serious note, in my opinion first priority should be to keep Beñat on board. Only then we can look for other options.
I say sign them both. Zandio, who's hairstyle I love by the way, and Erviti are both classy riders. But Beñat is more important, no doubt.
I would first of all try to get David Lopez Garcia to Euskaltel. I think he´s the best out of this three riders.
I agree with you. Getting Davíd back would be awesome.
