Euskaltel touch down in Benidorm

The Vuelta a España is edging ever closer with the first stage in Benidorm to go ahead in just four days, and Euskaltel is not wasting any time in getting there. The orange squad will fly out from Bilbao today and arrive in the coastal city sometime this afternoon. As you know, the race kicks off with a TTT, so they probably did right in getting there early and doing some recon.

Just looked at the Benidorm TTT course, and that climb right off the bat is a godsend for the team. It won't propel them to victory obviously, but will help them mightily in limiting their losses.

Definitely Nick, I reckon they won't cede that much time to Menchov, Nibali, Purito and co. at all. I'd say a minute to the winner.
