This is totally off subject but does it seem like the Euskaltel team does not take part in many races throughout the season? There are a good bit in Italy, Belgium, and France that other pro teams take place in but why not Euskaltel? Is it Money issues or the size of their roster that stops them?

It's a combination. Obviously the size of their roster is keeping them back - especially so after they were forced to take part in the Giro. Galdeano has said a million times that three GTs is too much for this team, so naturally they cut back on some racing to make up for that. Also I think they've become more aware of were their sponsorship interests lay. That's Spain and to a growing degree France.

But no matter what the reason, it's a shame, as the team could easily have picked up some morale-boosting wins if they'd competed more.

It is a pity that some of the younger riders end up pitched into the top races quite early without the chance to build experience and confidence in the smaller events but as you say Magnus, that is the effect of only having a roster of 23 riders.
